OTP (One Time Password) is an additional security system present in Style.. Its operation is straightforward: when the user logs into Style.. by entering their username and password, a temporary access key is generated. This key must be confirmed by the user through a device they own (where the key is received). The access key generated by the OTP password creation algorithm (also customizable in Style..) is one-time-use and expires with the ongoing authentication session. Although it involves an extra step when accessing Style.., it is a practical security method for several reasons:
Prevents password theft.
Increases user confidence in Style..: as the user is the only one with access to that specific dynamic key.
Widespread implementation methods: the delivery of the OTP key can be applied not only to fixed devices but also to mobile devices via SMS or email, allowing users to benefit from this additional security layer even on the go. The OTP function integrates seamlessly with the possibility of accessing the system outside the company.
