Calzificio Trever Spa (Calzedonia Group)

The Calzedonia Group has implemented the SAP Group information system. In response to the business plan planning requests from Calzedonia Group's headquarters, Trever Spa, a company within the Calzedonia Group, has adopted the A. PLM Style.. system (by Sting Srl).

Project

Trever Spa must quickly respond to the planning requests forwarded by the parent company, in terms of dates, meaning the scheduling of activities in internal or external departments (subcontractors) involved in specific areas of individual tasks.

Trever Spa, through the PDM of Style.., manages the entire design part (technical sheet) of each item in the respective sizes. It performs simulated production on machines (approximately 1,000 weaving machines for planning millions of pieces) based on the business plan provided by the parent company. Upon completion, it delivers the dated planning of simulated orders related to the business plan. After confirmation of the business plan by the parent company, Trever Spa quickly schedules the confirmed business plan, thus meeting the market's timing requirements and delivery dates to end customers.

Achieved Objectives with A. PLM Style..

PDM for Technical Sheet Management: Utilizing Product Data Management for the management of technical sheets.

SCHEDULING for Simulation and Production Launch: Scheduling for initial analysis simulation and production launch after business plan confirmation.

ROLLING PLAN for Disruption Management: Employing a rolling plan for managing disruptions, particularly due to the use of external laboratories or subcontractors.

Interface with SAP: Establishing interfaces between SAP and Style.. for the transfer of the business plan from SAP to Style.. and the return of finished products from Style.. to SAP.
