Paola Confectii Manufacturing Srl is a company within the Canada Goose group, specializing in the knitwear textile sector. The company has multiple facilities, with its main one located in Bucharest, Romania. With a turnover of approximately 15 million Euros and around 450 employees, Paola Confectii Manufacturing Srl develops knitwear items for some of the most prominent Italian and international brands, including Prada, Valentino, Gucci, and others. In addition to producing Private Label items, the company also engages in commercialized production aimed at the international market.

In 2016, Paola Confectii felt the need to streamline the company with an information system that would allow unified management between Private Label and commercialized production. This meant having a system that enables the company to accept customer orders for Private Label and commercialized items, plan and manage both types with MRP, and avoid the need to separate various productions.

The objectives included launching orders into production, managing yarns in various dye lots, handling yarn deliveries from various suppliers, and managing warehouses in different facilities, among other tasks. The company aimed to replace its existing software, which did not meet its desired functionalities.

To address these needs and eliminate manual processes (such as using Excel spreadsheets), and to introduce barcode management for both Private Label and commercialized products, the company embarked on a software selection process. The goal was to choose a product that met its business objectives and offered robust management capabilities to accommodate the demands of a rapidly expanding company.

After thorough software selection processes, Paola Confectii chose the A. PLM Style.. system because it met all the objectives the company had set. Being completely web-based, the system allows users from anywhere in the world to interact with each other without the need for dedicated lines or other methods traditionally used for remote connections between company locations.

Several years after implementing Style.., Paola Confectii Srl now manages its operations in a rational, simple, and fast manner. The staff communicates in their preferred language, a mix of Romanian, Italian, and English, without the need for translation tools.
